The Daily Millat (Gujarati) needs no introduction, having by the grace of   Almighty Allah, entered its 59th years of publication in Pakistan. Inspired by the partition struggle, the newspaper was first published in 1946 in Bombay, to assist Quaid-e-Azam in his struggle to liberate the Muslims from the yoke of Indian tyranny. at carried the Quaide’s Message to every nook and corner of Indian Gujarat, devoting itself totally to the ideal pf Pakistan.

        The Daily Millat enjoyed them, as it enjoys now, a very high reputation for its objectivity, evident in the unbiased and unstinting pursuit of truth in its reports, analysis of current events and hard hitting editorials.

      As the market leader Gujarati news, the Daily Millat enjoys an impressive commercial standing.

Inquilab Matri

Mr. Inquilab Matri, the son of vereran journalist, Fakhre Matri, Editor-Founder of Daily Millat, The Leader and the Daily Hurriyet, took over as head of the family newspapers business at father’s demise in 1966, whereupon he was appointed Chief Editor of Daily Millat, The Leader and Daily Hurriyet. Mr. Inquilab Matri had been associated with the publications form an early age, and was appointed as the London Correspondent fro the Daily Millat and Hurriyet in his early twenties. In London, he was also an active member of the Commonwealth Press Institute and traveled extensively throughout Europe to cover stories of Pakistani interest. He also set up Urdu Morninger and Eveninger Daily Public in 1993.

Mr. Marti was elected the President of Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors on no less than four occasions, in 1982-83, 1983-84, 1986-87, and 1988-89. He has also served on the CPNE Executive Committee for the last 37 years. Mr. Matri is B.A. in Political Science and History and a Barrister-at-Law from The Middle Temple, England.
